Is it just me or has there been less media coverage of rossi and more of Marquez since Argentina?

I dont think things went all rossis way at the post race safety meeting. It kinda looks like he lost a lot of the other riders respect but did the media lose respect also?

I don’t think the loss of respect started in Argentina, I think it started in 2015. It gets to a point when it is just a ‘not you again’. You admire a guy for what he does or has done but the guy can’t stop talking how great he is and how it isn’t his fault he isn’t doing good anymore that you just don’t want to hear it anymore and start adjusting your opinion about him.

Whilst I think the goons booing Marc may insinuate that it paid dividends for Vale, I also think that quite a few people have seen through the comments about 'destroying the sport' and being 'scared' as both contrived and manipulative.
So in summary I think yes, it has back fired - to an extent. But I am biased because I like Marc.

You'll have to wait for Marc to break another rule and see how he is penalized. If he gets hit with a race ban, Rossi's post Argentina comments will have worked to perfection. That said, Marc only has himself to blame for accumulating more penalties in one weekend than most get in a season.

Rossi still won't win the championship. He would have done it in 2015, if he was still able, but MM even had more wins than him that year. MM should have had that championship, too. He tried 'too hard', and crashed himself out of the points.
Winners of races do tend to get more media attention, no surprise there.
Crutchlow seems to disagree. Do I need to pull his quote about not getting the attention he should because of the Rossi-Marquez incident, or can you do that for yourself?

Yes, I think it has backfired with the other riders. They are already joking about it. And Rossi was NOT at the pre-briefer, recently. Very unusual. I am sure he hasn't hurt his fan base, however. I can't imagine being Spanish and wearing Rossi gear, when you have so many great homies'. Truly deranged people.

No, that's why I included the word 'tend' I haven't forgotten the 2 most recent anomalies to that statement, namely Cal and Dani.

not sure if you are referring to penalty points such as back in 2015 but they arent being used anymore.

It should have, however his exhaust needs a 2lb potato stuffed in it to sort the problem

Yes, as Zarco openly stated in a previous press conference. Other riders are seeing thru his ......... It's like turning the titanic, a slow process. But it is happening! But more importantly people like winners. So the horde of yellow mustard clowns are thinning out.

While others like synn & moto dodoo are going thru this painfull reality check
