So you could do well in 125 and 250 then.
<

Nope...I could not do as well as Capirex in the little classes...but then again I did not try...

The point is several people have been 125 and 250 champs...but it is meaningless once you get to the big class...

It is very likely that Stoner will win the title in slightly better fashion then Hayden did last year. Meaning, he capilized on the bad luck everyone else has had and amasing a big enough points lead to take him all the way....this would make him greater (in my view) than those that have won multi little class titles...
To his Credit Casey has won more than just his home race and a gifted race on his way to having the title lead at the moment...

NO, you just look at the present. i think it's obvious to most here that you have not followed the sport long, you question people knolage when you clearly have none.
if you had followed gp you would not say capi has achieved nothing and is a loser, you also said he has never won a world championship

read and weep sucker.
World Championships 3
Race Starts 249
Race Wins 28
Podium finishes 94
Pole positions 41
Fastest laps 32
not the stats of a loser mate, my advice is go and do your home work before opening your mouth and making yourself look a right burk.

How many wins does Capirossi's in his combined 500 and MotoGP career?

Doubtless someone will answer that, but the point is a rider puts it on the line for us so who the fk are we to deride him??

Deriding them is not what is happening, what is happening is questioning and assessing their level of greatness as the big class level.

I think Loris is a great great rider, but his time at shot at the motogp title has passed and it is time for him to make room for the young guns to have their shot at it.

I think the same of Barros, great rider, but do we or he really think he is ever going to win the MotoGP crown? It's a question of a rider knowing when its time to retire, before they get retired.

I'M TALKING "ABOUT REALITY MATE"...WHERE IS CAPIREx AND THE x is small because Capirexxx..is so insignificant in motor racing that the x should be much much smaller than what i'm portraying it to be!!!

There is truth in your answer but I still see slagging off happening which turns my stomach.

Yes this is typical....but what you have to realise is that....Hayden only won 2 GP’s....Casey has won 5 GP’;s...its all about winning and competing with ur nearest opponent...and NickyH didn’t do any of those things...SORRY MATE...BUT...2006 & 2007 ARE “NO CONTEST”!!!

with all due respect, i could not disagree with you more, winning a world championship means you were the best in the world for that year, thats hardly meaningless even if you do move on to bigger and better things. its funny how some have listed lorenzo as one of there top ten riders yet some dont see a 125 or 250 championship as meaning anything.
i suppose it would be boring if we all agreed.

Consider Lorenzo for a moment. Do you really think if going to make a huge splash upon his arrival to MotoGP and Yamaha next year?
I think he will make a lot of noise, but won't dominate like he does now.

Consider Biaggi 4 time 250 champ and multiple winner of 500 and MotoGP races, and had the Dream ride with best team and best bike of Repsol Honda and he still could not win the title.

Feeder classes are important for the future...and yes people wining the small class titles are the best in their field in the world in their particular years.
