If you hold a Superbike race and only one bike enters,is he automatically the winner, or does he have to complete the required % of race to earn points and victory. The reason i ask

Being an Ulrich, I'm sure the AMA could find a way to suspend him, dock points or fine him.

A bit of bad new for our rider Lenny Hale. He wasn't able to get the funding for Daytona 200 (for those who don't know, Daytona is about 3x as expensive as any other race on the calendar). So Lenny's season is gonna start at round 2 Fontana.

But I will still be going up and partying. I may be helping another guy named Fernando Amantini. So if anybody is interested, let me know. I'm already gonna meet several PS members....and yes, I will be bring a .... load of tequila.

Are you still going to Daytona?

Superbike grid is up to 21.

Aussie Dave Racing is fielding 3 entries. David Anthony's number 25 is reserved though he's not listed. Adrian Schlegel is on the #52. The third rider is not listed, but it's reserved under JOHNNY ROCK PAGE's racing number (269).

This is going to get interesting.

Bostrom isn't entered either, but his number has been reserved for Pat Clark Racing.

Yes. I guess I wasn't clear. I will be there four days. You going too?

Lex, Bostrom will be there for sure.

Frost, Daytona is the fugliest track in the entire country, not just the series. Fontana is second. Also, I was invited to do the entire series but can't pull it off because the schedule is ......... They go from coast to coast back and forth. Stupid. Completely non cost effective. If they would do east rounds then west rounds like SX then maybe I could go, but traveling 3000 miles only to come back to Cali is impossible.

Nope, im still holding out, even though my ire for DMG is waning since the "restructuring". Daytona is one race i will holdout on forever, as long as they are running Supersport bikes in the 200. Some of my friends are ending their boycott and going to Road Atlanta this year and have been turning the screws for me to do the same. One of them told me the other night that it was about the ride, not the races, and i could go shopping with the wives once we got there:lol:

Count me in aswell Ill be in FL for 5 days of bike week! looking foward to meeting some of the fellow PSers and taking down some tequilla. Drunk is the only way i can enjoy AMA racing LOL. No im looking foward to seeing whos in the races

I was there when Mert Lawill was sliding the wrong way on the banks. When Brelsford clipped a lapper and ended his career while leading. When Bugs won it on a (pos) honda. When Scott R. was supposed to win but got beat up in a bar.

I realize these particular memories are a bit on the down side but the racing was great.

Boy howdy, what happened to racing? Oh yea I remember. The ama.

Cali kid I hope you get as good as memories that i have but man you are watching the bottom of the decline the ama has brought on American racing.
