COOL DUC VID. OTHER HOT NEWS. SPIES TO TAKE DANI'S PLACE?

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Bootsakah @ Apr 7 2009, 03:16 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Little chance you say? Tell that to Colin Edwards about his 2002 season, when he was down 45 point after round 3 and ended up winning the championship. Last year in WSBK there wasn't a single rider without two DNF's, and we all know Haga's propensity to go down at some point. I'm a big Haga fan and will be happy if he wins it, but let's not jump to any conclusions just yet.

That's right, Bayliss's somewhat flippant team mate (Xaus) put him up the wall at (can't remember) and Bayliss fell off the pace for the last part of the season, can happen to anyone and Ben is looking like the real thing. Haga is a good crasher so you never know...

From being indifferent to Spies I really want to see him of a gp bike now

I figure it was obvious but will ask anyway.

Am I the only one who calls photoshop on the pic and noticed the publication date?

Spies ain't going to Respol in 2010 and unfortunately appears to be limited to a satellite Yamaha ride in 2010 dependent on the interpretation of the rookie rule (IMO he has raced MotoGP so is no true Rookie, but has not been a year entry so could be classed, catch-22 anyone).

Very true Andy but the Haga I have seen in 2009 is not the Haga of bygone years.

At PI he appeared to 'settle' for second as Spies opened up the gap, opposed to push beyond and crash, as Haga of previous years would have done.

IMO, he has been put in a corner and absolutely given a rollicking by the team as to what they expect, plus he has realised that this is the best year and opportunity he will ever get so he has to make it work.

Brands, as I recall.

I think Bayliss also DNF'd at during one of the races at Assen
