You will have to excuse me, the race coverage that I get to see is pretty much the warm up lap, race, and after race conference. Watching Dani in the press conference with a poker face on after winning a GP is what provoked me to provide this observation. It just seemed strange that he showed no joy at all, perhaps he has disdain for interviews? Perhaps he shows more joy when talking in his native language?

I have lots of respect for his racing ability and I am glad he is not like Lorenzo. I don't think I or anyone else is asking him to be a clown or showboat, but just to show some elation about being the top motorcycle racing. I just seems like he isn't genuinely happy. It may be I am seeing a limited range, a portrayal of him by the sports media. I will download some of the widely touted Eurosports coverage and see if I can catch some more of his after race joy, maybe I am just missing it.

Nothing could be more wrong.

Dealing with the people who surround a rider (including fans) is obviously important for future career management and for the riders own state of mind (which is fundamental). Dani's approach looks to be working right now, which is why it is worthy of as much praise as anyone elses, perhaps even more if his success continues

Are you taking out your frustrations on Hayden because your boy went gravel surfing not once but twice? Get a grip man. Maybe you should visit your Hong Kong ... guide for some “relief”.
