Chad Reed signs with Suzuki.

That's awesome. I never liked Chad at Yamaha. Give him factory stuff and someone get him to race Nationals. Hate him only running SX.

Dungy is a good asset to have on the team

dungey will not be on the 450s. he'll be doin the lites class again & i wouldn't expect to see him in the big class till summer 09 in the out doors at the earliest. in reality probably not till the 2010 season.

yeah... he did a couple of rounds in the sx class last season. de coster wanted him to get him some early exposer to the big class. he did pretty well so it helped his confidence as well.

Also not mentioned is were James Stewart is going. From what I have heard he will replace Reed on the satelitte Yamaha which could switch to Honda. Kawasaki is not picking up there option. This could make it big for Reed in the next few season.

Also, Chad Reed could finally go outdoor racing, which he really wants to do.

Stewart will never be on a Satellite. That's like saying Rossi is going to JiR.
are you high

Thats the info I got from a guy with a Honda sat. team. Reed ran years as a Yamaha satellite rider.

There is NO way that will happen. The guy is the most talented rider there has ever been.
The GOAT, decoster, and MC all said that, and he's only 23.
barring injury or him deciding to quit, he "might" end up being the greates rider ever.
The guy who told you that must be higher I am.

That's what a guy who works with Butler Brothrs Racing told me. Kawasaki doesn't want him. And the L&M Racing Yamaha has done alot better than the factory bikes with Reed. It's a great fit for Stewart as he would be the only guy, so he'd get all the parts.

well just because it say's satellite team doesn't mean he'll be on satellite machinery.
<
if it turned out to be true of course...

Yep. All the Honda squads in AMA are satellite teams. There are 2-3 teams that are funding like factory teams from Honda

i'm not much into super cross, but from the few races i've seen... only reason why Chad Reed is doing OK is because ricky carmichael dropped out and james stewart is injured or out ,,, right? you guys will have to excuse my ignorance if i'm as i don't follow the sport too much. Even so, seems like the guy Chad Reed is a prick.

He was the number three guy behind those two, but I think Stewart has been injury prone the last few years and Reed has jumped to the top. Even in the races at the starts of the 08 SX season, Reed was a match for Stewart.

Chad Reed is not the most likable guy. He is more like Lorenzo/Biaggi than Hayden/Rossi.
