Wow.......what a superb race today was, the first 10 laps where it was ballastic overtaking was really edge of the seat stuff!
<
<

Melandri/Barros battle was great to watch................what happened to ya man Hayden Ooost? He looked quite hot first half of the race, then just got swallowed up by Melandri & Barros.

Tamada was looking very good too..............he had the fastest lap at one point, real shame he binned it as that would have been interesting to watch
<

BUT..............Rossi, pure class, the whole world knew that Vale was just biding his time..........amazing lap when he overtook Sete.....tyre woes?

Nice one Shkey getting some points!

I agree a corker good clean racing.

My pointers :-

Yep shame about Tamada he was running well.

Well done to shakie for completing the race.

Rossi well we just knew
<

Barros and Melandri great battle.

Hayden I was willing him on for a podium but good ride netherless.

Bayliss no podium but a good solid 8th.

Onto the 250 race highlights..

Had to mention full of Drama with some of the big boys DNF..

Pedrosa king of Spain.

Dovi what a gutsy ride he was battered and finished 3rd.

DePuniet after coming off clawed back from dead last to finish 6th.

Corsi cutting up Barbera and damaging his throttle that had the Spanish fans spitting.

Lorenzo taking out De Angalis big time a nasty off.

Aoyama great late surge to come 4th.

Stoner stayed out of trouble and came 2nd to Pedrosa that will keep the championship going..

Chaz Davies was in 8th at one stage but the bike let him down again shame but he will be back
<

wow again im a masive fan of vale but thought he was not gunna catch sete at 1

Yeah I think we all saw Rossi sitting there lap after lap after lap within one second, it was just a matter of time. I really thought Tamada was going to be there at the end, sounds like the tire just let go. It really looked like Nicky was making a charge, he had broken away from Melandri and Barros and put down the fastest lap of the race at the time and then he started going backwards. I read on the broadcast that he was fitted with a soft front and I thought it was a bit of a gamble when I saw that and the higher temperatures and maybe it was as he got taken by Barros and Melandri in the end but then again, he may not have been in touch with those two if he had a medium front. Good stuff and I am excited for the Dutch TT and then we are off to the Red Bull USGP!

This really is the wrong thread for your response as this is really a site issue that we are discussing here.

MotoGP General chat is the place ..

We already have threads on the Spanish race in General MotoGP chat so pop along there to voice your further opinions

If another rider not named Valentino Rossi by some off chance wins a race this season (Nicky Hayden @ Laguna Seca) can we talk them up too? I'm not picking a fight it's just in my nature to be a smart ass. Sorry.

in general we do dont we? cant help if rossi wins 5 out of 6 so it a talkin point,
no doult soon as he loses the topics will cum flooding in which is ok aint it
<

No doubt Rossi is the best. I just hate it when everyone repeats the fact that hes the best and they dont put forward an interesting, original opinion as to why he is the best.

Whats the point in sitting at your computer to write the same as everyone else, VALE! VALE! VALE!

I would much rather discuss reasons for his unique talent and amazing skill
<

It's gotta be the hair, sideburns, and the fact that Michelin makes graduation style podium hats for him.

Who knows, it could be Valentino himself
<
........the word is out that we have the best motoGP forum & members!!!!!!!!!! ;-)

Are you being serious Ben or just trying to butter our bread? Would you still say that if I told you my wallet was in lovely shape thank you very much? Just kidding, if that's true then I am proud to be at the ground floor of the site. Nice work everyone! Now Ben, let's take it a step further. How hard could it possibly be to get riders in here talking to us...

ron if u dont like it u dont have to respond, ive as much right to post wot i want,
if and when rossi wins wot r supposed to post nothing? when he does win we r overjoyed so thats why posts get put up,,
<

I agree staying on the subject of the site..

You can have your flashy banners & graphics and games..

But it is all down to community and I like what I see so far.

We have had what 5 noobies in the last couple of days?

Word must get out as I know some of the peeps here cross over to other forums and the exchanger programme ( Ben knows wot Im on about is a little slow at present, but some have made the leap here)

We have a nice balance of Hardcore chat on GP and the joke side of things also which is cool.

Next thing the Rossi fans will wanna forum
<

I'm very happy with the way this forum is going, building up a strong community of motoGP addicts is what this forum is all about.

Yes this isnt purley a Rossi forum, but people have the right to talk about whatever they like regarding motoGP, so the die-hard Rossi fans are fine to post as much as they want. But remeber there are a load more riders in the series & people will have different opinions on everything..............it would be boring if we all agreed all of the time!
<

Yeah we have had a few new members too, the more the merrier..........we are getting quite a bit of traffic from a couple of search engines too now...........we should hit 100,000+ hits this month, which is 40,000 more than May
<

Anyway..............going off topic here
