Pedrosa fast out of the box just like he was last week. Most of the guys doing almost full race distance this morning, I'm gonna wait until FP2 before I make any predictions ( like you're all holding your breath ) but you'd be foolish to bet on Pedrosa not getting on the podium at the very least. Go Elias!

I also think Pedrosa is a dead cert for the podium, this afternoons session will be more of a pointer with the track temperature closer to what will be likely come race day, can see Rossi writing another record here tho

Rossi's getting fast.

Just over a second cover top 14 in FP2. Rossi was consistently fourth fastest in the first half of the session but pitted after 14 laps. Whatever he changed seemed to have worked. I suspect he'll run a race simulation in the morning with this setup. Hopkins was also strong right through the session. Pedrosa and Stoner didn't gain any after they came out again in the second half of the session unlike Elias who obviously changed something for the better. Ducati seem to be suffering at their lack of data after last year. What about the top speed of dani's Honda? FP3 will tell a tale....

BTW these are combined FP1 and FP2 times phleg!

Rossi's getting fast.

Erm...yeah I know that skid.

Rossi's quicker in FP2 than he was before...and Pedrosa's slower than he was in FP1.

He's closed the overall gap time .

sorry phleg. I must quit smoking!

I didn't know until now Pedrosa crashed, apparently a big one. It just showed on the live timing that he was in the pit.

A surprised Pedrosa slid safely to a halt, but his Repsol Honda was sent somersaulting by the deep gravel and sustained substantial damage. Dani later returned to complete a further 17 laps, but was never able to threaten that early lap.

Front went. He slid along the ground on his butt. Looked quick ?though...bike did a dance after the sparks flew.

Holy Honda Batman!

Looks like Honda has pulled a rabbit out of their .....!!!

Not sure what Honda has done but Pedrosa and Hayden now have top speeds almost as fast as the Ducati boyz!

The Kawasaki is up there too at 316 km/h!

Yamaha and Rossi are still 10 km/h behind!!!!

Rossi blew everyone away with consistant fast laps, most in the 1'43s next best was Hopper overall but I'd put my house on Rossi making it 2 in a row!

I'd still take it, you could make a ripsnorter of a lawnmower with that engine, man!

Anyway you guys think pedrosa's interpretive dance telling HRC that theres too much rice and not enough burner in their latest two wheeled ballistic missile has damaged his chances or a good result in cata-"we're not actually spanish"-lunya?

c'mon skid. If you dont want a 200-horsepower lawnmower in your garage I'd have to question ............. I mean its loud and it rips grass up. What more could you want?... ok before you answer that, lets assume its got a mini fridge with beer too.

Don't scare me one bit. I wear full leathers and a dark visor every time I cut the grass anyway so it might look pretty cool too. Can I get a grill on it as well for doing up a couple of steaks? I can see it now, it's one bad lookin piece of kit!
