I like Loris, but he had to know what he was signing up for. Sometimes athletes just dont know when to call it quits. He took one of the worst rides in the paddock to stay in the series. Was it not knowing when to quit, or did he need the final contract to pad the nest. I just hope he doesnt end up crippled or worse for it. Maybe some of these guys should consider the WSBK route like Biaggi and Melandri have. A fresh start, decent money for a big name rider, a competitive bike, and as Spies said, a much better atmosphere.
