wtf was that .... when he waved rossi through in the middle of the brno race???

let rossi, ducatis main rival for the championship earn more points? let their nearest competitor on the team and manufactureres competition gain points?

yeah he gained back his position late in the race, but letting rossi through because you can't be ...... fighting for the position is just not right.

i bet ducati wouldnt of been too happy, and i wouldnt be suprised if he gets dropped before the season ends.

I really didnt see it as Loris waving him through. I can not remember the exact motions he made but I thought he was either going for a tear off or slipped or was saying he was sorry for something. The pass was not easy enough for Loris to have just let him by. Maybe I am wrong though.

i saw him not even attempt to turn the bike into the corner (was a longer sweeping corner), allowed about a 5 meter gap, turned around, look at rossi and wave him through. then rejoined directly behind rossi.

Jesus mate calm down, saying Duke should give Capirex the ... for doing something that could have potentially won him the race is a bit strong.
I'm sure you've all seen this scenario before.
Rider goes in front, can't set a good rhythm.
Allows second rider through in the hope he'll set a better pace and drag him up to the next group/leaders etc.
This can and does work in all forms of road racing.

Did you watch the coverage of the race on Channel 10??
I heard that the commentators suggested Caparossi let Rossi through.

I watched it on Fox and the commentators didn't even give it a second thought. They mentioned something about a tear-off.

i saw it and thought it myself, to tear off a visor you dont do it on a corner.

It looked like he went for a tear off or looked over his shoulder,& Rossi went through. Rossi went for a tear off at the same time. I think its silly to suggested Caparossi let Rossi through.

He went for a tear off. End of story. What, are you a reporter trying to make a fantastic story where there isn't one?

and BTW, who would you replace him with ... Livio perhaps?!

There is a heap of abundant talent just waiting in the wings to beat Rossi (and help Casey) for the last 6 races ... Not!

It's not like he didn't take that point from #46

And you wonder why Ducati did not extent his factory ride...

Winner of the day was CV to beat deLoris....

CV as he passed deLoris said 'Follow me you old git, I know the way Round!

I agree with you on that

Chris Vermulen rode well, on the dry

So Stoner having a 60 point lead and comfortably the best package isn't enough for you?

You STILL want to moan when the title is already in the bag?

Come on mate...cheer up.

Although Rossi did seem to sweep majestically through Capirex relatively unmolested (with due regard to the tearoff issue), it was only a few laps later that Chris Vermeulen did almost the precise same thing to him on the same corner. And followed it up a few laps later on the Master himself.

I think that this is probably made Loris pull his collective finger out & make a move back on Vale himself! I think that Loris knows that there is nothing to be gained by going "bayllistic"(sic) at this point & is reasonably happy to be the "support" rider ( think CEII ).

He'll continue to do his job well for the rest of the season but I don't expect that he'll be sticking his neck out without good reason from this point on... there's the wife & kids to consider!

Don't worry, things will get very interesting with all the new team & rider changes in the new year! For now we'll have to be content to see how things unfold in '07...

Is this, Stoner having a 60 point gap, all about me cause I was on about Rossi been able to still win it. Cause if it is well, I dunno anymore, I still have faith in Rossi, but I cant see the Duke faulting now

Looked to me like both Rossi and Capirossi removed their tearoffs at the same time but Capirossi made a mistake looking back at the same time. Rossi took advantage, that's all.

This crucifying of Caprossi is getting a bit tiresome. I find it funny how quickly people slag off a rider when they have no clue what's going on inside the teams. Look at Nakano, he's clearly struggling with the piece of $hit Konica Honda but when Rossi was asked awhile back which riders he admired in the (then) current motogp crop he mentioned Nakano and Capirossi amongst others. If one of the all time greats who races these guys week in and week out rates them highly, then I'd rather listen to him instead of some of the drivel written on this board.

After Ducati's frankly ...... treatment of Capi recently I'm surprised he hasn't taken to screwing them.

I didn't see anyone let anyone through tho.

my view of the incident was that capirossi ran wide, looked over his shoulder to see how far back Vale was, before closing the door in order to stop the two colliding. however Rossi was able to stick it down the inside of him, simple as. no conspiracy theories needed.
