Sometimes sweden, sometimes usa, sometimes greece.
Well, he has been looking really good on that 2023 Duc. He dumped too in a row and could have been leading the championship by now. So yeah, to me he is a title favourite. Long way too go, but Sprint plus GP can mix it up pretty good. If he gets that title; then he will be the first one in the MotoGP era to win the title with a satellite team and the first one in the premier class to do it, since Rossi, 2001.

I never thought I would say this but I am somewhat hoping he does win it all this year !!!

At the very least he is making the 2024 season that more interesting indeed, I say thank you Marc for that !!!

Seems to me most of the riders consistently at the top lately are still single, that includes MM, Acosta, Quartararo, Martin, Bagnaia; whereas many of the current flashes in the pan are married (some with children). Once you get married and have a family it can really change your perspective on risking your life and limb, I wonder how much effect this has on various riders currently on the grid and their prospects of winning the championship !!!

I agree but there can be the exception, wasn't Stoner married?

Stoner was married in late 2007 I believe, and Marc currently has a girlfriend.

MotoGP is better, more interesting and definitely more exciting and intriguing with Marc at the sharp end. When Marc was winning titles I wasn't rooting for him but not because I dislike or hate him. I just wanted someone to beat him because he was so dominant, much like the New England Patriots in American Football. Nothing against them but they just kept winning. I also now find myself rooting for Marc. I became a Quatararo fan when he was with Petronas but he and Yamaha are going to be in the wilderness for the foreseeable future. I've posted this before but I want to see Pecco, Martin, et al race against a healthy Marc on a competitive bike. Pecco came out on top at Jerez but in doing so, I think he threw down the gauntlet which will only please Marc. I am more excited about this season than I have been for a while.

Mir and Rins were already dads when they were still running good. Vinales is also a dad, so is Aleix.
MotoGP has quite a lot of dads on the grid considering that most riders are under 30 and people become parents later in life nowadays.
In F1 only three drivers have kids as far as I know.

As to my point I don't consider Mir, Rins, Vinales, Miller, or Aleix to be current riders that could win it all this year (perhaps with the exception of Vinales if he can consistently have flashes of brilliance for the whole season, but definitely a long shot).

Does Oliveira's step wife count? I mean he has lived with her most of his life.
I don't generally care about who is dating who etc but if there was one story I really want to know the goss on it is this one.

The way I remember it was, he married his sister, that turned out ot be adopted or some thing.

Its his step sister. His father married her mother when they were around 12. They have been sharing a room since. Giving new meaning to home is where the heart is.
