surely one of the most likeable and accessible riders around, i will miss him a lot
 
Ah Charlie Chucka - many great memories of watching him race and one guy who was always prepared to push whatever bike they gave him to the limit. Was really happy to see him win the WSBK Championship after such a long career. I would love to see a highlights reel of his career, it would be pretty spectacular!


 


Had some nasty injuries of late, as a young guy I find it hard to imagine still being prepared to race at the top level when you are 41.
 
Good riddens.  I haven't forgiven him for taking out Max Nueker last lap, Valencia.  Broke Max's leg, during a contender year, never was the same since.
