Well done to all concerned , Jorge did a cracking interview, just being his normal candid and honest self , great to see Cal too and Bradders

Great show.
Your pal was absolutely brilliant on it. Seems to have won over a few that disliked him for no reason.

Rory Skinner spoke very well for one so young and I can't believe he has nothing lined up yet for 2019. A real talent and shows the difference in backing in this country compared to Spain or Italy. Hopefully gets something sorted, has another good year and then gets a chance in moto3.

It's a dog eat dog world out there, Danny Kent can't even get a British Supersport ride for next season.

Absolutely but Danny Kent got his opportunity to move up after being world champ. For one reason or another it didn't work out for him and now he's career has gone into decline somewhat.
Having just recently won the talent cup, it would be a shame for Rory not to get a chance somewhere to progress. It is the whole point of the comp after all.

Hey - glad to see you're still about.

Thanks, I stop by from time to time. Had a very busy year with personal aspects of my life so haven't dedicated much time to online stuff. I'll admit I grew tired of the constant attacks on here too, it gets old after a while and especially running 2 racing programs for 2019 I haven't had the inclination nor time to get involved in that.

Loved the Lorenzo interview, he is probably my second favourite just based on how real he is. He's a very flawed person like most of us but doesn't try to hide it. I expect his interviews in Spanish would be even better.

That's the only thing I don't like about Marquez is he keeps a lot close to his chest, which I understand but I would love to see him at least occasionally come out and say something that you know he is feeling.

I hesitate to make any blank statements, but it's been pretty damned chill here for some time. When certain elements stop coming round to inflame folks - people seem much less inclined to start up the drama machine.

Funny in how one particular member who seems gone, was modeling his online persona on that of Eric Cartman and he thought that was a good thing. I'm laid up at home just now following a quad bypass and been binge watching South Park and seeing how practically every misinformed jibe and insult that ever came out of that member's mouth was a verbatim Cartman quote. Not an original thought ever came out of that guy. Anyhow... I think the forum is changing for the better. I do hope more old timers will drift back here.

Historically, most of the real greats weren't super touchy-feely guys, Freddy Spencer being a rare exception, and he paid a price for that vulnerability, suffering with depression for many years.

Some are very personable like Mamola or Sheene but it's really kind of superficial stuff that gets past their privacy filter. Fans love the .... out of Rossi because he comes off very light-hearted, happy-go-lucky, impish etc. but it always felt like a very self-conscious act, from a guy who likes to play to the camera.

True statement on both! I think Sepang 2015 may have a lot to do with Marc keeping is cards to his chest.

Willing to bet we wont see that troll back here till when the season starts. Also sporting a new name.

That's the nature of internet forums. I'd say how I'll recognize him in a second, but they're all so alike, from the same mold, that it takes time.

Fingers crossed. This has been probably the only place online where I have enjoyed talking racing without being labelled a Rossi hater, but the drama escalated to a level I wasn't willing to partake in. I tend to take a back seat with flame wars but when I was directly accused of something I didn't do it was time to make a stand. Proof of those accusations never did come forward, which I knew would be the case as they were categorically false.

Anyway, like everybody I am looking forward to the new season. Cannot WAIT to see what Lorenzo can do on the Honda.
