Brivio: Rossi has nothing to prove anymore

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Bootsakah @ Oct 2 2008, 01:34 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Ago has 8 world championship titles in the "top class", formerly the 500cc now MotoGP. Rossi has 6 championships in the top class. He could "prove" himself as good as Ago if he wins 2 more in MotoGP, or prove himself better then Ago if he wins 3 more. In regards to overall championships, its unlikely anyone will best Ago, as no one races multiple classes anymore as they did in the old days.

Don't get me wrong, I like Rossi, but when someone claims he has so much talent, and has nothing more to prove, I say take on some new challenges and build that legacy even more.

If Rossi is 39 years old, and winning championships at his level (which is MotoGP) then I will be forever impressed. But we got another decade to go for that.

wow, you sure are hard to please

Hahaha, I felt like playing devils advocate and tried to find things that he could "prove".
