They were two bloody good races i thought!, kept me on the edge of my seat in some parts.
Nice to see the Blade back to his usual self!.
<

It's about time Crutchlow got his first win too, well deserved after last season.
Shame about Haslam but as they say. . .good things come to those who wait!
What a crash that was with Sykes & Harris too
<
, and there was no way it was Haslam's fault either!
Is it just me or is Shakey dangerously silly at times?
<

roll on Oulton Park i say!
<

What an excellent pair of races! AMA wishes it was this good!

I have Cal down as a dark horse for the season, but I think Byrne is going to win it in the end.

WOW!! That was great racing. I'd say the three main races (supersport being the other) were more exciting than the one before. What a terrifying track thruxton is, the bikes looked really cool squirming around at that speed and in such close cobat with each other. Unfortunately there was a few horrific looking accidents, but it seems the riders are okay on the most part.

Great riding fromt Cal Crutchlow today, he is a future star and made leon look mediocre today. Shakey did as well but this is expected from him. I can't wait for the next round to get a clearer representation of what might happen this season, plus i'm gonna be there

It's you, Haslams riding was more questionable

Haslam was only dangerous in race 2 at the chicane when he pushed himself and Harris wide.
<

However Shakey was all over the place in race 1 & 2 and was being quite aggressive in places.

His passes were clean and fair, he looked less sketchy then most around him (Haslam, Rutter, Sykes etc)

Yeah..that was a bloody good race...but I missed the first race..Eurosports really suck..should have informed earlier. It's been quite sometimes we have something like this in MotoGP.

Great racing at a real track. Leant over on the power, sliding at speed, brilliant. Rutter can definitely ride a twin really well. Haslam showed again why is isn't winning races every weekend,

Didnt see a problem with Shakey's passing, everyone he passed stayed on the bike

Leon Haslem yey again proving why I can't stand the guy. There are too many occassions where he looses control under braking ala with Harris on Sunday.

And for people who say the Sykes/Harris crash wasn't Haslem's fault, watch the crash again and look how wide his line was going into the next corner, Sykes had no where to go and his reaction proved how angry he was with Leon.

Haslem is lucky that it was his good friend Karl Harris on the recieving end of both incidents and not someone less friendly such as Sean Emmett.

He'll only have to bother with him when he's lapping him.

Yep, he again proves how dangerous and idiotic he is on a bike, I feel incredibly sorry for Tom Sykes for both the Thruxton incident and now the incident today.

Also how much better than any other bike on the grid is the 1200cc Ducati, I can't believe both the BSB bosses and WSB bosses allow a visabally superior bike with 200cc more than the fours in their championships.

This form is not common from Haslam, I dunno why he's become so erratic. I think it's the pressure of Crutchlow being much faster than he expected, and the fact he was expected to win this year.

To be fair, it's more down to the riders than the bike. Byrne has always been rapid on a Duke, Camier is one of the top 5 talent wise and Rutter is Rutter. I mean look at WSB, Bayliss is running away but Smrz, Lanzi and Xaus are hardly dominating, or filling up the top spots.

Yup, he even lobbed it at Redgate at his Dad's race school on Wednesday

I've never watch Haslam, but wasn't he supposed to be a big time rider? Wasn't he supposed to be the next star rider?

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Daniel @ May 5 2008, 09:51 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Shakey is the nuts, fact.

Yeah, he's amazing on that Duke. I hope he wildcards WSB at Brand's, I reckon he could double again.

Not from what I remember, but everyone expected him to be good considering how successful his dad was when he used to race.
