for paddock, pit lane walk, multi-turn seats, track shuttle, full open bar all weekend & buffet (which food was ....... REALLLLLLY good & you got breakfast, lunch, snacks), clean bathrooms it was about $1200 a head.

but i was super thankful, because it did rain this past year, so i was able to hide under coverage. all that .... is right above the paddock, so you can look over the balcony on either side and look at both front & back of the garage area.

also, nice big screens to view the race.

^^btw – that's for austin.

Sweet as, cheers m8 , all being good we're going this year , im attracted to unlimited paddock access and they speak English ( learning Spanish as we speak but its bloody hard :/ ) lol ...

Im doing paddock passes this year for Austin, had club passes last year, once you factor in food and drinks, the paddock pass is a bargain.

I'll be there this year. I got flight & hotel already and bought a vip pass for sunday.
I'll be there by myself like a weirdo but that shouldn't be an issue.

If you can only do one, Mugello is it. You can see a lot from the hill and the cool town is right next to the track. Plus you get to drive/ride/eat in Italy. I want to go back!

Assen has great ambiance as well.

I wish they still raced GP bikes at Spa. Man that would be something!

Party at Lil Sparrows nest!

Libby, Austin is college town so there are plenty of hot young babes everywhere. I loved that part. Everyone is friendly, drinks cost next to nothing.

The track is spectacular. Top international quality surface, wide, elevations, slow and fast bits. Plenty of viewing areas. If you've been to Silverstone, it's similar in the sense that it's a vast expanse to cover, so be prepared to walk, but it's worth it, plenty of interesting spots to watch. I recommend turn 1 to watch the race, it's elevated and you'll see the start, finish, and the first several turns.

The prices of admission is reasonable. I have no idea what the paddock access is like. There us a thread here on the social board of a meet up in 2013. I'm not sure how informative it is but I suppose it's worth a look at the last 10-15 pages.

Shovelhead has a great summary of his weekend. Arrabbiata1 and Willski can tell you about the joy of flying from England and the welcome they received in Chicago.

As for me I had the time of my life. My only regret is not finding Motochick. She PMed me, but just when I was about to meet her we gathered to meet Kropotkin, which is a whole other story.

AUSTIN GP 2013: Its not just a party - Page 35 - MotoGP Forum

That was quite possibly the best weekend at a gp ever.
Great people, great place, awesome nightlife.
Once we finally got there, 38hrs from the UK. fcuking Ohare and Chicago weather. ......... Always fly through NY now.
But Sachsenring and Ankerberg campsite with 250,000 partying germans was pretty awesome too. If a little scarey hahaha. :D

What would you guys do, Assen or Sachsenring?
And why? Im going to visit 1 of these 2 coming season.

Thanks in advance

Done then both, Assen 2011 Sachsenring 2012 and was on campsites for both.
Personally I preferred Sachsenring. Both are great tracks to view for the racing but Sachsenring and the Ankerberg campsite just gave it the edge,
They were surprisingly tame evenings in Holland.
Hope that helps
