BBC iPlayer going International

Who the .... would pay 10 bucks to watch Doctor Who? I'll sit through 20 minutes of advertisements to watch Top Gear, or something on the BBC in the states.

t is estimated that global audiences would pay up to $10 for an episode of its most popular shows.

Mr Smith said: "Not only will that mean international fans of, for example, Doctor Who can get their fix legitimately [rather than downloading programmes illegally], but it has the potential of opening up a new revenue stream for the entire UK production industry, alongside sales to traditional broadcasters.

Are these people on drugs? Oh yes, I'll take the $10 option thanks

I think CaramaC was meaning you'll be able to watch motoGP coverage worldwide?

Anyway, $10 is a snip compared to the $233 UK household's have to pay for their TV license........biggest scam going. Spooks is the only decent thing the BBC put out.

EDIT: Fook, missed the PER EPISODE bit...........my bad, christ who's gonna pay that!
