wow...I didn't hear about this...that's insane of him to race in that condition.

I don't understand it but something has happened to both Bostrom bros...they are both seriously underperforming this past season.

It is pretty nuts to imagine riding with a broken back, however Kenny Roberts won a world title with a broken back in 1972.

My take on it is Ben is still adapting to the CBR1000RR package in WSB spec and on Pirelli tires and also the team hadn't sorted itself out yet, perhaps they will look a bit better in 2006.

There is a lot of talk that the front end on the 999 is next to impossible to set up which could be the reason for EBoz's struggles in 2004 and 2005. With a pending switch to Yamaha he should be back at the front in 2006.

One last thing, does anyone know if Renegade Honda lost their Koji sponsorship? I ask because Koji is no longer displayed on the side of the bike, it says Ben Bostrom 155 and has stars and stripes all over. It's been like that since his one race stint in BSB and I can't understand why unless Koji pulled out. Anyone got any info?
