Great Ride by Miller!
Redding very much deserved to be on the podium
MM came away the biggest winner of the weekend in the championship

Horrid for Rossi but it happens

JLo had a better weekend than even he expected.

Red flag sucks but it was necessary and so we got a great short race....

Congrats to Ducati for the 1st race, and shame about the 2nd race....

I just feel for Petrucci, Dovi and Rossi. Their rhythm was on point before the red flag, truly the best wet riders out there. Redding also. They got the short end of the stick.

Probably the 3 best rain riders, but they fell into the trap of trying to go back near the pace they had before the red flag without taking the time to feel out the conditions again. Of course, it's easy to sit and say they should've taken more time to feel out the conditions when it was a short, 12 lap, sprint race.

Have to say I had given up on him, but he rode very well.

That thing he was on last year gave him no hope, and he did break his leg pre-season this year. I guess he gets another year with marc VDS at least.

I had given up on him as well. He was looking too much like a guy who couldn't get out of his own way or he would just suffer from bad luck. Really just incredible he pulled it together today by taking advantage of his moment. So many guys when given the opportunity like this wind up folding under the pressure. I admit I was expecting Jack to do the same thing, but he managed to keep it together which I give tremendous credit for because of the enormity of the situation.

Rossi is obviously a lot better than Lorenzo in the rain, particularly in damp rather than full wet conditions, but I wouldn't really call him better in the wet than the dry. I think he is best/most superior in low grip dry conditions or damp conditions.

WC over for rossi no way he will win the season this year. Pushing too hard going for the win. Nah its sad but hes out. marc will take it. Shame on dovi for chrashing and awesome job from miller. And lorenzo should check his assen problems somewhere..

It's not over til it's over. People were saying it was over for Rossi after Mugello, but Rossi gained those 25 points right back from Lorenzo in the very next race. Marquez is riding very smart this year, so it will be difficult to gain points on him but anything can happen. Every race (except COTA) as been very unpredictable.

George and Rossi needs the old Marky Mark to show up for one race and do something stupid to get the points back down to a manageable amount to overcome.

Red flagging the race was more dangerous because the riders were in rhythm before the red flag and they were well adapted to what the track was doing. Going out there after a lengthy break was a joke.

ROSSI OUT!

Like I said the red flag was a ....... joke.

Agree, It was raining MUCH harder at PI before they red flagged the race. That was some serious rain,

It is going to be hard to catch MM given the judicious way he raced today.

Lorenzo actually gained on Rossi today, didn't lose the championship at Assen as he did in 2013, so this is not a bad result from him with presumably many dry races still to come and the Yamahas apparently the best bike in the dry. My money is somewhat on MM though, and I actually wouldn't mind him winning the third title, which I could never have conceived post the Assen race last year.

I understand the concern about the standing water, but given the rider reactions after the red flag came out, it was a non-issue to them. I am not a fan of ....... up everyone's rhythm when no one was motioning for a red flag. 2 riders crashed prior to the red flag, after, there were what, 4 or 5 in what could have been deemed to be "better conditions".

Yeah, Marc will attempt to play it safe but they're all going to these tracks for the first time on Michelins so there's so much unknown and MM could make a mistake and DNF. Of course Yamaha could pick up more DNFs as well... who knows. Interesting season for sure.

Yeah, I don't think race direction thought about how much faster the riders would attempt to get back up to speed after a restart. At the start of the race they had the luxury of pacing themselves and getting into a rhythm. Force them into a sprint race and they will accept more risk to get up to speed quicker and that's what increased the danger.

Congrats Miller!

"New" Race Direction...like the old Race Direction. Still trying to help Rossi, backfired. Race Dirossiction threw the red flag as soon as VR got swamped. No rider had raised hand in regards to conditions. They may have taken a victory away from a Ducati. Either Redding, Petrucci, or Dovizioso. Or even the Hondas, which were coming on at that point. More riders actually went down after red flag, thank Race Indiscretion. Well, Miller is happy.

Meet the new Marc Marquez. Cool, calm, collected.

Content Warning: Look ....... (.)(.)

Jumkie is the leader of the VRexit campaign. He hopes one day motogp will be rid of Rossi, but that will never happen with out the total collapse of the motgp economy.
