Hey guys, I heard a rumour the other day, can't remember where though, that Aprillia would be joining MotoGP again in the next few years. Its supposedly to coincide with 250s going four stroke. when the rules change there, Aprillia will build an 800.

Anybody else heard this one?

no... but i hope it turns out to be true! their last outing was a forgetable affair!

Hmmm Aprilia back in MotoGP? Seems like Piaggio should help make this outing more fruitful than the last.

What about KTM? Are they gonna take a whack at motogp?

I've heard rumours tying BMW, KTM, Aprilia and wait for it.... Porsche, to MotoGP. So we'll see what happens

Presume you never heard the Cube then Frosty ?
On sound alone they should have won a championship !
The most frightening sounding bike ever, I liken it to a WW2 Spitfire.

most def an ear bleeding machine and will hopefully someday make a welcome comeback - noise an all

Porsche?!

I actually hope that the rumor is true. I'm a sucker for the brand because
it's the only manufacturer that frequently exceeds the hype surrounding
its creations.

The Gulf livery doesn't seem too convincing though. More like a trap set up to mock the Porsche nuts.

If Hayden can't be on a Ducati, I guess a Porsche is the next best thing?

I know BMW is another relatively far fetched rumor but they actually
need to get in. They are twice as big as ducati in terms of
unit sales, and they have a profitable car manufacturer behind them.

on the whole bmw thing, i read recently that the bike they'd been testing with jeremy mcwilliams which could be their supposed gp bike, had no clutch lever, hinting it to be fully automatic. hence why no photos were released of the left side of the bike.
