and why would you choose Capirossi above Ant at Team Green? Financially and ability wise it does not make any sense!

Yer FP1 was good for him, and hes been damn consistant through FP2, just no ONE really quick lap (his average lap times were about as good as Randy's) he just needs to keep improving and also learn how to use a quali tyre come QP, then give GAASSS from there..

Yeah...Ant is a very nice guy and a perfect exsample of a loyal, understanding and dedicated rider that Kawasaki REALLY NEED AT THIS TIME IN THEIR DEVELOPMENT!!!....
But it’s a pity that corporations like Kawasaki don’t realise this FACTOR!!!..
And judging by what is going on in the SILLY SEASON OF 07....it won’t change EVER!!!...If Ant is SACKED then I pity Kawasaki as Ant will give them his HEART & SOUL to achieve the best and I don’t think anyone else will have the commitment that Ant will have towards Kawasaki!!!...Just look at the past aussie spirit with:...Honda (Gardner, Doohan), Ducati (Stoner, Bayles) Suzuki etc etc...We ARE A LOYAL BUNCH!!! JUST REMEMBER THAT KAWASAKI!!!
He was even closin in on Randy over the last few laps before the Frenchys bike shat itself, Ant'd be stoked just to finish right with his teammate.. Now he's gotta start beating him

! decent race so far this year from a rider of his experience? Would hardly think that is any answer! Capirex is old and past it along with Checa and Barros! Get some young talent in.

Yep it did, Ant was composed and rode brilliantly in his third ride aboard the kwak.. Capirossi got lucky and picked a different tyre to every other bridgestone runner.. With all do respect, Capirossi should retire, two podiums for the year, compared to Stoner's domination of 07, really is abysmal, at least Ant finished right with his teammate (who eventually retired.)
So pick Ant Kawasaki, he has potential and room to grow, Capirossi is old and this should be his final year...

I really think if Westy keeps performing and moving forward like he is doing now, Kawasaki will see the light and sign him for another year! He's a much better option than Capirex who is clearly past his best.
Has Westy ever ridden at Laguna? I'm pretty sure he hasn't, so I don't think I can see any improvement from his eighth place in Germany. Fingers crossed he can still put in a strong performance!
Yer it will be his first outing at Laguna.. I get the feeling he could end up being the last of the Kawasaki's.. His aim will be to beat RLH and maybe, just maybe beat DePuniet home too...

To the contrary! Today's race just reinforced my opinion and I stick by my statement ... Eighth position in his third race ... He continues to improve.
Capirex rode well today but his form is too inconsistent. I agree with "Son of Doohan" ... time for Barros and Checa to go (must be costing their teams a small African nation's GDP to keep their bikes on the road, the amount of times they bin them).
