American sponsorships in BSB

I've Noticed the BSB series has some decent American support with WD40 and Dickies as major sponsors and additional support from Monster and at one point Milwaukee tools was running a team. I find this odd since the AMA Is in such poor shape, Is it that BSB has better sales man than the AMA when it comes to finding sponsorship?

Nobody read this board bro, open this same thread in the MotoGP board. Copy and paste your post above and add that MotoGP has Monster, an American company. To discuss.

Somehow include the words Rossi and tires and you will get 60 pages of responses.
Its a good question CK. One that I have no answer for because I havnt seen an AMA race in years. Not for lack of wanting, but simply because its not available anywhere to watch. As far as I know, neither is BSB in the states, which is too bad because I enjoy the national series's.
I doubt you'll get much response because most of the people left on the board are not really fans of moto racing. They are tribalistic ..... who only come here to cheer for or against Rossi, and discuss past riders who beat him.
Good to see you back though. I know coming out of the closet was tough but there's plenty of cocksuckers here that will accept you

The BSB is a very well run outfit and it may be that the brands (Monster excepted) are trying to crack the market and in many ways, bike racing is a cheap spend compared to heavy advertising dollars etc, particularly if your market is targetted at motorcyclists or mechanical users.

Alternately, what riders were involved with the sponsorship and they may have an involvement with that sponsor (ie. could be US or importers of the product and raising brand awareness).

Edit to add.
Just used MV and JK's (not JKD's) favourite tool and found that Milwaulkee Tools is now Hong Kong owned so that may play a part as increases to market and brand awareness have occurred from time to time in Oz. A new business jumps in, sponsors for a year or three then often drops away as either the market picks up for them or they realise that the ROI is not worth it.
