Hi everybody!!
I've been looking for a place where one could have a good, spirited discussion about Moto Grand-Prix without being immediately swamped by fantrolls of this or that rider/team, and still have a laugh. You know: Adult fun, for the living room!
Hope PS.net fits the bill.
I've been avidly following all three classes since 1998 (from Germany 1997, to be precise) and, although I've had a few "favorites" and my allegiance have changed from time to time, I have the utmost respect for all riders (with perhaps one or two notable exceptions that will remain unnamed) and their skills. I also think they're nutters!! Bless'em.
So, despite having a limited knowledge of the sport's history (in contrast I've been watching F1 for 30 years) and witness only the twilight years of the "500" - oh, but what years -, I believe I can hold my own talking about contemporary MotoGP racing.
Looking forward the rest of the season and some good ol'chatter.
(no pun)
Oh, and I don't ride... a motorcycle, anyway.
