What Ducati was doing is there design stayed the same on the outside configuration of the 'box' but were changing internal flaps and wings inside the box depending on the track. Those internal swaps will now be banned

I used to ride a very highly tuned RD500LC, it could be a very flighty beast especially with its 16” front wheel that was the fashion. It could outrun GSXR1100’s and FZR1000’s, especially on twisty roads and tracks.
Welded crankshaft webs were the only way to stop them from twisting and destroying engines!
Sounded wonderful though as the four swarbricks came on song. [emoji3]
