Not Welsh but used to go over the Bridge from Bristol to Newport every weekend for about 5 years and I always thought you pronounced 'LL' as if clearly a lump of phlegm from the back of your throat

He's kinda right Chops but let me as a Welshman explain. I think for people who find it hard to speak the language, then using CL to pronounce LL is the easiest way but its not strictly correct, I commend you for trying though. The easiest way I tell people to pronounce it is to stick your toungue on your upper mouth/pallette then breath out...the noise it makes is how "LL" is pronounced.
