My wish Stoner by a country mile for each and every race ....... obtaining the series first 100% wins in a season.

No cameras at all on anyone outside 4th position.

CRT's lapped ......... safely.

But I predict it will be out of

Stoner, Lorenzo, Pedro and Spies. ( Pedro to be the surprise )

Ducati will bring in a wildcard who will win a race. Arthur Sissus maybe?

Ok, now that testing is done, lets have another go at this;

Rossi's first Podium: Third at Mugello

Rossi's first Victory: No victory for 2012

Rossi's total number of wins for the season: 0

Stoner's first Podium: Qatar

Stoner's first Victory: Qatar

Stoners's total number of wins for the season: 8

Lorenzo's first Podium: Qatar

Lorenzo's first Victory: Le Mans, France

Lorenzo's's total number of wins for the season: 5

Hayden's Best Result: Forth at Laguna Seca

Spies Best Result: First

Pedrosa's first broken bone: No broken bones for Pedro

Dovi's best result: Second

Best CRT result: Forth - RDP in a wet race

Best CRT Bike: Aprilia - RDP

I've been away for quite a while so I have a question: Is anybody expecting for anyone but Stoner to win the championship this year?

I think it will be between Stoner and Lorenzo, but I couldn't tell you yet which one I believe has better chances of coming out on top.

Not many, but, most felt the same way after 07. The big difference is he is now on a competent machine.

One thing you have to say is that rossi focused and rode absolutely brilliantly in 2008, as well as he ever has. I think stoner had a good enough bike, tyre conspiracies aside, for most of that year to have a chance.

It has still never been revealed what went on with the going back to the 2007 ducati engine thing, and I would be surprised if honda had an engine problem like that; it is not impossible given the dani pedrosa red light episode at the sepang test though

Good post Michael, i think the same thing happens in every sport - someone comes in and moves the goal posts, people up their game the year after and its more even that year. The difference with this particular era is its the same guy moving the goal posts!

I don't think Casey is going to have it quite so easy this year though... Jorge seems really confident despite losing out in pre-season testing.

1st: Stoner,

easier for him than what most people seem to expect, with a minimum of 10 wins. Lorenzo will try really hard, even too hard, and make mistakes. It could well be a record-breaking season for Casey Stoner in 2012.

2nd and 3rd, will be between Lorenzo and Pedrosa.

4th and 5th, between Rossi and Spies.

6th, 7th, 8th, Dovi, Hayden, Bautista (in any order)

etc.
