Actually there were several guys, including such completely obscure riders as hailwood, surtees, read and duke - 17 world championships by my count. JT does look more of a chance of adding to this than anyone else for a couple of decades admittedly.

Probably he intended MotogP as limited to the premier class from 2002 onwards.
In the old 500cc Great Britain had not only Barry Sheene but all-time greats like Mike Hailwood and Phil Read...

yeah coz u really can assess your driving skills in a race when your gearbox cant handle even 1 lap. i doubt if jesus himself could of won any races with the reliablity of red bull.

It's not our fault he's stuck in a .... car. Maybe it's to suit his abilities.
 
end of day brits go on about thier own like nothing else when they done jack all. i mean you guys are ......, are .... at everything u do, so when there is a little ray of sunshine you know how to lap it up.

Much as I would like to see webber do well as I have said before he just doesn't seem to have it. He almost always goes backwards in the race and rarely improves on his qualifying position where coulthard even at this stage in his career does the opposite; I think it is called being a racer. Sure webber has had bad luck but bad luck persisting over this number of years gets hard to distinguish from lack of talent.

A bit dumb to bring F1 into it.
Lewis Hamilton, as far as my limited F1 knowledge leads me to believe, is well ahead of any Australian driver a the mo.
Last time I checked, he was from Stevenage. In Britain.
