Looking back to the events red flag handed victory to Kawasaki, if they opted for safety car instead Kawasaki would have been DNF. Once again, rules decided the outcome of the race. I personally prefer races where the best win, this wasn't the one.

Saw the thread mentioning Schwantzs return to the 8hr and it just made me start remembering some of these bikes that I only saw photos of in Cycle News back in the day.  Something about seeing em with a headlight is cool.   Anybody here ever been to this race?  Used to get massive crowds I believe.
