In the United States, it is common sentiment that college athletes play harder than proballers in the NFL and NBA; and that the NFL and NBA are boring to watch compared to college ball. This is because the college athletes are living off scholarships in hopes they make it to the major leagues...
This is a motogp rider appreciation thread.
Going first. I always will remember and appreciate Wayne Gardner. He was the reason 500cc was first televised in Australia, in conjunction but often delay from F1 races, which I also loved. Anything with speed. I used to set the VCR recorder if it...
Title says it all.
What makes the talent?
I say the fantastic 4 (Dani, Marc, Jorge & Casey) all had more natural talent than Rossi and some say the results say otherwise.
I think the results don't really explain the full story.
Might be a dumb thread but we don't really have much to...
Valentino Rossi- Father time will continue to slip farther down the order, but his alzhimers will get worse.
Danilo Petrucci- congratulations you have leveled up. Sorry your bike is the same and so are your results.
Johann Zarco- and the ktm will be the face of mediocracy
Fabio...
That's the game over at crash. https://www.crash.net/motogp/news/240232/1/quiz-which-motogp-rider-are-you
It says that I'm #93. I did it on two different days and got the same both times.
We didn't need Marc to tell us this information. But the world champ pretty much says the folks in charge "jarvis & Meregalli" are idiots! But Herve had already mention that...........

This should be good, especially with Rossi being ranked way ahead of his teammate, who showed he needed more polish after losing the tires and chassis he dominated pre season and 1/4 of the season on.
Not sure of the accuracy as I would hve thought Vinales would be on more
MotoGP 2017 rider salaries: Who is paid as much as Valentino Rossi? | Other | Sport | Express.co.uk
Rather than make a specific thread about Marc-y-Marc., I sought a more general approach to this thread. Although Marquez is the primary reason. Considering that he has dislocated his shoulder several times, I am starting to worry that we could lose one of the best in the game to this...
2nd Runner Up: #25 Maverick Viñales
When Kevin Schwantz said earlier this year that the Suzuki was a potent weapon and not only a potential race winner but a legitimate, viable factory ride, nobody believed him. Of course, there is always that guy in every group who's all like, "Well I said 5...
My partner has been really confused with all the musical chairs, rider changes and new teams for 2017, so much so that she actually made a chart to show where everybody is going ... typical school teacher.
Morning all .. glad to be here for first time. ... watching Czech qualifying at moment...
Riding for many years now and love everything on wheels especially when only 2 of them
Looks like riders might start making some moves pretty early this season.
First 2017 MotoGP rider moves ?after 3-4 races? | MotoGP 0
I myself don't see any big moves in 2017, so I am not going to ask predictions. I am going to ask for moves that would make since in your mind, or more...
Honda hints at unchanged rider line-up for 2017
Guess that Vinales to HRC move wasn't as forgone a conclusion at the moment.
Probably easier to have MM as a defined #1 with Dani on the other bike. If Vinales comes there, it's not as easy to do this. Plus losing Stoner as a test rider...

Interesting video.
What's good about this video is that it establishes his character early on in his career, much in opposition to the claims of Oxley and others.
Maybe Journo can tell us about how there was a giant spider on the side of the other rider's bike and VR just wanted to kill it.
I was a big fan of MotoGP in the 90s and am only just getting back into it now. I am curious what riders from the 90s were favourites with fans. I always liked Àlex Crivillé, even though he was always second-best to Mick Doohan.
Bit bored tonight so thought i would start a thread on ere, whos ya fave and why, mine is Lorenzo :clap2::throb: Im old enough to be his mother but hey ho, :) why, cos i was doing a fantasy league in 2008 and needed another rider, picked Jorge, followed him ever since  looking...
On Crash.net there was some Hayden bashing including some guy saying he's only won 3 races when another responded with "That's more than a lot of rider on the grid" so I decided to look into the numbers:
Current riders:
85 Valentino Rossi
37 Jorge Lorenzo
26 Dani Pedrosa
21 Marc Marquez...
