I am in a number of forums around the place and in one, there is a guy who attends a great number of MotoGp and bike racing events as a spectator but at times also as an official (medical as I understand it), which means that he gets some access that others may not, so he makes sure he carries...

And yes, he saved it. His explanation: Just one flying lap in Q, I put my knee in the dirt on the inside at turn 2, it dug in & near ripped me off the bike. I've a lot of hip pain. I got back out in Q2 and all went smoothly. Put in a run of 8's on used rubber, best was 2,08.3 so looking good...

I'm interested to see that there is a motorcycle Le Mans 24 hour. Won last year on a Kawasaki ZX-10.   I can't seem to find much information about the race. What sort of bikes are they? Close to stock, or all out racing machines that only pretend to be a road model? Is there factory support...

Saw the thread mentioning Schwantzs return to the 8hr and it just made me start remembering some of these bikes that I only saw photos of in Cycle News back in the day.  Something about seeing em with a headlight is cool.   Anybody here ever been to this race?  Used to get massive crowds I believe.

so do they televise this anywhere!?!....... I HATE THE STATES! Colin and Haga are running tomorrow, just wondered if anyone has access to watching it...or where one can.
