What Happened to Claiming Rule Teams? MotoGP Racing Info & Analysis
Nice article about CRT, and Cameron's belief that something will happen between HRC and Dorna.
Some time ago there was a suggestion that more tyre choices were going to be introduced so that the CRT teams would have more appropriate tyre choices, rather than having to pick from two choices chosen really to give the prototypes a choice.
Did anything happen with that?

Azi tweeted that she had a chat with Paul Bird during quali and he will be fielding two CRT bikes next year. Custom built chassis already in development using an Aprilia engine. Two riders to be chosen from Ellison, Shakey Byrne, Tommy Hill and Sam Lowes
There's a good article from cycle world on the Aprillia engine and some of the modifications it's going to be geting for GP. They may be able to turn the wick up on these bikes soon. It's nice to see the CRT bikes getting some developments which should help them get a good bit closer to the Sat...

Posted this in another thread, but decided to start a freshy....
Gotta admit, I really don't fully understand the CRT rules.
1. Are the CRT bikes able to use the same standard of electronic systems as the MotoGP 1,000's, or are they limited
2. Are CRT teams completely free to play around...

MotoGP's ever-shrinking grid is becoming a reality...
There's 3 races remaining and still there's not much talk going on re CRT bikes for 2012. We know Edwards has signed with Forward racing how ever there no bike as yet. The only bike that made it's public debut is the suter/BMW. Are we actually going to see any bikes on the grid next year? Mr...

Interesting take on the moto1 Homo1 bike, a satellite bike will be more competitve. I memtion this in another thread, there's no way a CRT bike is going to be competitive against a...
Just caught Toby and Julian chatting that Blusens will be in the 1000`s next season with a Kwak ZX10 in an FTR chassis. The wheels are starting to turn with this on top of the Suter BMW commital.Roll on 2011....I despise the 800cc class,up to the point of sometimes ignoring it.
