I feel like I have to start this thread with an apology b/c I thought this was a major channel on Youtube, but I've been looking at the viewer statistics and I realized this channel is still quite underground.

Some classy people have archived the WSBK seasons from 1990-1999. The races are condensed into 10 minute recaps that are tastefully edited, and some seasons have classic interviews and qualifying sessions as well. If you click playlists at the top of the channel screen, all of the races and qualifying sessions are neatly organized by year.

This channel is epic.

If you want to start with a good one, watch 1996 Monza Race 2

I just watched that race, how epic. I really did think Chilli had blown it.

Anyone who thinks modern motogp racing is up to par should be made to watch that race.

Oh and also, watch 1997 assen, race 1. Possibly my fav. Koncinski does the impossible.

Ohh sweet lord...V2 Ducs, V4 RC45s and the S4 SRADS + the good old ZX-7RRs up front

. It seems there was definitely a time when Kawasaki could build proper racebikes.

So many legends btw: Russel, Foggy, Corser, Slight, Yanagawa and most of all the man who was the biggest fighter imho: Frankie Chili.
<

Hopefully Yanagawa brings some of the good old green feelings back for Silverstone...and I don´t mean the sight of a burning ZX.

Thanks for the link, it seems this weekend will be a WSBK-fest for me!

Remember this classic last lap? Make sure you watch right to the end if you didn't see it before.

Nooo...unfortunately I did not see this one before so thanks a lot!

Actually there is a lot for me to catch up so I will spend the whole weekend with WSB.

Btw gotta love Chili´s do or die attitude, that did not make him a champion in the first place but he made some of the most spectacular "closing-ups" in the history of WSBK. It was very interesting to see this video btw, it reminded me a little that I miss something from today´s racing...the emotions and rivalries of the great individualities.

However I have a feeling that the Lorenzo vs. Rossi situation in MotoGP tends to turn into one...I bet that we will see some drama before the end of this season and the first race will be like 2004 Welkom.
