I'm assuming that's the Dave Despain Wind Tunnel clip. I used to think he was a good guy around Speed and he used to do all the biker shows. He still has riders on from time to time, which probably wouldn't happen if the show was hosted by someone else. It's hard for me to call him a sellout because if I were in the position he was put in (held hostage by NASCAR TV) I probably would have made the same decision. There aren't many options for moto journalists in this country unless you want to inheirently cover NASCAR.

Dave use to really support motorcycle racing, but he has sold out.

Yea, NASCAR is huge here in the states and that is what is paying the bill, but it sounds like to me he has gotten a TON of emails complaining for the lack of motorcycle coverage. What dose this tell me? Speed Ch. axed bike racing for NASCAR and sponsors are dumping a ton of cash into its pockets. They are giving its viewers what will keep filling the bank, not what the varied taste of the public who enjoy auto racing.
We lost ESPN to Major League Baseball, and now Speed Channel to NASCAR. I have dropped the cable bill a long time ago. MLB and NASCAR will not get my money.

I hate NASCAR as much as the next guy but you guys act as if this was Dave's decision. And AMA MX might as well be NASCAR, I hate it now.

The dude is right don't blame him, blame the majority of the fans that like NASCAR.

Is SPEED the only motoring channel you guys have access to? I don't get it.

Because if it is I feel your pain, NASCAR racing sucks man, big time. Going around on a circular track is just plain boring in my opinion.

What made me give up on Dave was when he seemed to have stopped pulling for us (Motorcycle Fans). I would'nt blame him for doing his job, but the thing is this channel had everything in the start. Tuesdays had nothing but bikes. What Speed is doing to racing is what MTV has done to music. NOTHING to inform, just to BRAND

daves right we have too many billybobs that like there lives go round in circles the only good nascar is daytona and talladaga the 2 sperspeedways when they could run unrestricted carburaters the could hit 215 mph easy now that was nascar in its glory but now it really SUX BAD to me anyway thats my 2 cents worth on it. and like any all a hole everybody has 1 oppinion that is.
