I read that last tuesday rossi also drove in a ferrari F1 car at Fiorano!maybe after the contract he signed recently he goes to F1??? he still managed to keep the rumours going

I also read a few articles about Vale testing an '04 Spec Ferrarri. I think if Ducati doesn't step up in the next year or two that Vale will call it a Motorcycle career and try Rally or F1 if he can...my guess it may happen within the next 3 to 5 years.

MCN Ron,;doesn`t look likely as Yamaha haven`t a competitive 250-reported last week.

I had heard that was one of the reasons Rossi may ride it, because they had no competitive 250 package at the time. Which would all change as soon as Rossi and Burgess took over.

To be honest I was skeptical when I first heard this, now that Honda have announced Pedrosa will join MotoGP in 2006 what is the point for Valentino? Yes, he could be only the second rider to win a title in 250 and premier class in history but he would not be beating the reigning champion, wonderboy, Dani Pedrosa. I think if Dani were in 250s again in 2006 Valentino would have more desire to race the series but now, not so much.

Pedrosa is apparently having the new 800cc v3 kind of built around him,it has a shorter wheelbase and generally smaller dimensions to suit his weight/stature and is expected to equal or surpass the RCV lap times-MCN reported yesterday

Tried to get a pic off the MCN site but its just a small cockpit view, best get this weeks MCN for a look see

Rossi will be at Yamaha in 2006, but not with Gauloises !!!

Rossi has refused to carry tobacco sponsorship on his bike, he will be sponsored by Alice (Italian ISP) and Nastro Azzurro (Italian beer).
Gauloises will sponsor Edwards and maybe a 2nd Yamaha works rider.

Hey Teo! What sort of colours will they be? Is Nastro Azzuro yellow? what other colour?

As soon as anyone gets a pic of the livery, please post.

Thanks Ben.

And Ron as far as colors go, Alice is red and Nastro Azzurro is the same yellow that Rossi wears currently. So assumingly his bike and leathers will be red and yellow.
