Haga....

Haga making an example of why he's never won a world title, he needs to smarten up! All the bikes look a bit cheap and nasty this season, but thats not important because the racing was good. Bayliss is frustrating to watch when he rides with so little class and still wins. Had he ridden properley and within himself you can only imagine how far ahead he'd be.

Massive disappointment in WSS

Well done the Fonz!

Excellent last lap from Xaus, although Ducati WILL be penalised for doing a 2,3,4,5,6.

I sense a good year ahead.

I sense instability in the rules

Biaggi looked better this time out, and so far looks like the only rider who i believe can put together a consistent championship. Quality ride by Nieto

Bayliss is sensational to watch! He's a racer's racer! He could only be 80% fit so he must be struggling with the handling/turning of the bike. Awesome effort by him!

Massive disappointment in WSS for Foret ... he would be gutted! Parkes would be happy! Rea needs to learn to stay on the bike. If he keeps high-siding it will be a very long season for him!

Looks like your Brit champs (ie Kiyo, Lavilla) are going to have to step up a gear! This is a class field this year!

Great ride by the fonz in race 2!
I look forward to the Biaggi/Xaus duels this year!
Corser won't be happy and neither will Haga!

Great racing ... great to see the bikes on track again! This will be a bumper year in WSBK!

I think his style looks rediculous actually, there is little/no finesse. Also his wreckless mistake making and inconsistency are quite frustrating, mainly because it makes the quality gap to motogp incredibly obvious as he leads the championship riding like that.

+1

he and pitt were looking very promising up untill that happened i guess coming off the cbr1000 with all those eletronics is after catching him out a little and not fully understanding that rear Pirelli is'int helping either but rea is a class rider and it wont take him long to get it together.. i think he would be a perfect contender to ride the duke in motogp

Apparently you can watch them on the WSBK site for free, but not here in Oz - I got the 'You cannot watch that in your region' .........

Is that the gap where he can go from winning a world supers title to winning a one off race in motoGP, on tyres he's not used to? Right, yep he's ....! Anyway his ragged style is great fun to watch!

It was a wile ago now and i have discussed Bayliss as a gp rider at length in the past, you can look it up if you want to see the reasons why i think he was not up to GP standard.

Maybe you need to ride a ducati this way, although max biaggi may show a different method as you said in an earlier post.

I know what you've said but the fact of the matter is that he's entertaining to watch. He didn't get on with all the outside pressures that went with motoGP, as much as the bikes. Ducati turned that bike sideways in his 2nd year and he was made a scapegoat for their failings. Then, when he had a one off ride, with no outside pressures, he came out and showed what he could do.

Totally, and i would never argue that he is a bad rider, or that Valencia 06 was anything other than impressive. However it does not change the fact that he was not good enough to deal with the setting up, developping, pressure and consistency demands that it takes to be a GP rider. A lot of forgettable riders have won races in the past, over a seasont they just don't have what it takes. In superbike however, Bayliss does have what it takes and that really makes the difference between the two championships clear.

I have to say although I am a fan that he was generally outridden by capirossi.
