Hayes says that Road America would make a great WSBK venue. Apparently, his comments were in response to rumors that were flying around at Miller about InFront staging a second round in the United States.

Personally, I can think of some better places with higher population, but then I've never really been partial to Road America.

looking at the track during the race...the concrete walls look kinda close for WSBK . I guess they could change that up.

they'll need to spend a ton o cash to bring that place up to snuff.... it is kinda out in the middle of no where.....

nice track tho.

The track is always reminds me of an American version of Monza. High speeds through narrow chutes in a heavily wooded area. The track has a lot of charisma, but it would definitely need a lot of work. Hard to sell as well. The fans up there are really good, I've heard, but I don't know if there is enough of them.

I was there not too long ago for an auto race and to be honest I just don't see it happening for WSBK. It's a very cool place and a great place to wonder around and watch racing but I don't think the surface is up to speed to say nothing of the overrun space. Not gonna happen. Perhaps Barber or something like that but I don't think Wisconsin is going to make the cut.

The place is quite fast and really scenic. The locals also support track events rigorously but I just don't think there's going to be enough committed funds to make necessary improvements.

New Jersey Motorsports park would be a better venue, being that there aren't any world class motorcycle races on the east coast. Indy is the closest, but still in the mid west and on the West coast we have moto Gp and WSBK
