I figure we can post news here as it happens and discuss accordingly.

First item: Ducati back in factory colors.  With riders Davies and some other guy.

I think the team will do well given the changes in regulations.  Go Chaz!  (Fellow Welshman)

Second item: As L8 posted, more likely for MJ to participate in Wsbk than in GP?  Perhaps.  I don't care, as long as he signs an American (except Josh Herrin).

Ok, so the Evo rules kick in 2015.  I don't know that Ducati have the resources to fix the GP14 and Panigale in parallel, so I'm guessing another long season for Duc riders.

Kawasaki should only be stronger next year, Sykes will be tough to beat.

Aprilia should still be strong and it's possible Melandri could give Sykes a run for his money.  Truly ........ that Eugene Laverty wasn't retained after his stellar 2013 season.

BMW....as my colleague's in India say "I'm not knowing"?

Honda, as much as I hate to say it, another long season for the boys wearing the wing.

Suzuki, not much to report, except for a possibility of MJM joining the series, but will MJM ride Suzuki's?  I think he brings RL Hayden and Eslick with him.

Buell and the EBR 1190RX?  Will they make it 2014?  You think Buell has contacted Michael Jordan?  Maybe 2015?

Dark horse, Elias anyone?

What manufactures did I miss or gotcha's did I leave out?

I think 2015 will be more interesting because of the Evo rules, you could see Yamaha return, KTM might decide to give it a go, and most likely that's when you would see the Buell.

Sorry, not much and very brief, but it's all I could come up with at the moment......ready.....discuss!

Jum's no worries on Herrin, he will be wrecking and finishing mid-pack if he's lucky in Moto2.

Isn't there rumors that MV Agusta could be fielding a SBK entry? Something to do with Lowe's former Supersport team.

Yacknich are running an MVA in WSS next year with the goal of running a 1000 in WSBK in 2015 under the new regs.

We just need Guzzi back in GPs now...

Looks like PJ Jacobson is out of BSB and in WSS.  Go PJ.

It will be interesting to see how Jacobsen does in WSS.   A year in the ultra competitive BSB should have honed his racecraft and prepare him for the cut-throat racing he will encounter in WSS.  Good Luck PJ!

PJ came on well in BSB this year, quite a few were asking questions about him for next year at brands at the last race,

He is building quite a little following from a few UK guys, and he seems a nice guy but not had chance to talk to him personally (yet ;) )

I wish him the best of luck too!

Gonna be good to have Hopper back in BSB next year too,

He has to be worth a Cheeky ton bet ;)

After qualifying on pole in the first round of the 2014 BSB season, John Hopkins will get taken out by a stray deer which just happens to be wondering across the start / finish straight. Hopper will sustain injuries which will prevent him from completing the rest of the season.....that sort of sums up his luck

Hahaha sorry Philllllip old boy

Great, they will likely embarrass themselves. Yates, really? Dude is older (and uglier) than dirt. We have talent in America, why have we been exporting our worse in Herrin & Yates?

Jum's I agree.  Danny Eslick would have been an interesting choice of riders.

Eslick was smart not to take that gig. EBR has exactly who should be riding that turd. A has been, and a never was. I do not understand this mo ve by EB at all, unless there is some kind of guranteed paycheck for participating. The bike has no following and isnt close to being competitve in a week ... AMA series.

Aren't WSBK specs way different than AMA? Suzuki wasn't competitive in WSBK the whole time Ben and Mat were wiping up at AMA events...

Not like Buell will be competitive right off the bat anyway or if they will stay that long in WSBK.

EB's got the right formula for building bikes. I wouldn't write him off so early. Surely will beat a few factory efforts when the stars align for them

Ben and Matt wiped up in the AMA because they were Ben and Matt. They would have dominated on any of the major factory efforts. Ben proved that by dominating WSBK as a rookie on an inferior machine. But to answer your question, AMA and WSBK tech regs are night and day different, for now. Soon, they will be very similar.

I don't think that is entirely true Pov. The Yosh Suzi team, bike, and management were head and shoulders above the competition. Not to say Ben and Mat weren't the bomb but… Bostrom and Duhamel could have been much closer - even won championships if USA Honda had puller their finger out and actually competed.
