Bayliss was donning Superman Leathers to help promote the new movie.

Managed to catch the highlights of this - superb race 2, really close action on the last few laps! Nori rode a stunning race, really good to hold off Troy on the last lap!

Brands is a stunning circuit. Even before I was interested in motorcycle road racing, I watched the WSBK races at Brands. What a spectacular sight! I wish Moto GP ran there.

just caught the end of race two then ...

what was the deal with bayliss and the superman logo??

lol ... supermans cool
<

^ it was a deal with the movie studio to help promote the new Superman Returns movie.

David Coulthard in F1 along with the Red Bull team did a similar promotion in Monaco earlier this year.....and he scored a podium.

i guess its worth it moneywise if they make it on the poduim .... its alot of publicity

It was good to see Toseland on the podium again, but it's a shame he couldn't replicate it in Race 2 though. Tyres I guess.

It was a great battle between Haga and Bayliss too and good to see the R1 in first for a change.

did'nt get to see it at all!
<
speed did'nt show it on sunday
<
they'll prob show it tuesday afternoon.

Quick WSBK question: Is there qualifying for the second race? Or do they just go on the results from race one?

They hold just one qualifying session, same grid positions are kept for both races.
