Bad news, this bike was written off at the weekend. No pics yet as the police haven't released it because the rider was badly hurt, he was actually thrown under the wheels of an oncoming car. All his fault as he was speeding (his son confirmed this) around a rather dangerous bend and lost control. He was due to be flown to southampton hospital today (tuesday) for further treatment apparently they've had to keep him heavily sedated for 3 days due to his injuries. We are told his injuries aren't life threatening, thank God he was wearing proper riding gear.

I bet looking at his crumpled body doesn't hurt as much as looking at his crumpled bike.

What you can't see;split crankcases, part of the subframe and main frame have snapped, damaged swingarm (£4,500-ouch!), bent rear wheel. Plus the carbon fibre bodywork.
