Please could someone explain to me why brands can't get wsb back. Last year it was said it cost too much, but after the donington farce, and with the amount of british riders in the field, is there another reason why has it not returned to what is probably the best track in this country, and has instead gone to silverstone. Is it something different such as safety issues, or is it a personality clash. Don't get me wrong, its great that we have a round but this country could certainly support 2 races and one of them should surely be at brands. It will be interesting to see at what price the tickets for the silverstone round will be pitched at.

I always thought safety was one of the points because of the 2008 Supersport accident.

IT WAS MONEY TOOK WSBK AWAY FROM BRANDS..

AND THE MONEY DEMANDS MAY STILL BE THE SAME..

IT IS THE BEST ROUND ON THE WSBK CALENDAR

Jonathan Palmer, the man who runs Brands Hatch, hit out today after the Kent circuit was left off 2009's provisional World Superbike Championship schedule.

Palmer accused the WSC series owners, FG Sport, of asking for too much money.

He said: “FG Sport expected us to pay twice as much to host a race next year. If we had matched the price FG Sport wanted we would have had to add an extra £15 to the cost of raceday tickets. That's just not acceptable.”

They don`t know what they are missing mate.
