Well you may notice ...... I haven't gone that far yet.

And to be honest I don't want it to be so either, however the main reason I put Stoner at top is ....... I believe thats where he is.
Part of that belief also comes from Spies himself ....... I think he can't fathom Stoners's shear speed yet. I shall re-assess that standpoint after say ......... 5 rounds.


When Stoner is on fire:

Rossi is in awe ...... hence the rest ....

I am hoping with all the changes in Duc. that they have got back to 07 running at Duc. and we will see another Stoner speedfest. ( But this could all turn tomud just as easily , the Duc. is no "guaranteed seat" like the Yamaha is .....its more of a "mystery flight standby seat" it could be great ..... but can all go pear shaped at the wink of an eye )

So we'll see

Why won't spies do exceptionally well? Stoner came more or less out of the blue in 2007; I very much enjoyed his championship win but I can't claim to have predicted it and I don't see ben's credentials as being significantly inferior to casey's prior to the 2007 season. I don't think he will win the championship in his first season, but race wins would not seem to be out of the question. Spies record is of methodical improvement at every level and if anything his record is of bettering practice form rather than being unable to repeat it. I think the only thing that can stop him is a non-competitive bike, but if lorenzo ends up on the outer at yamaha as many are contending rossi is in the process of engineering I suspect ben will end up with a factory standard bike; he may have such a bike from the get-go under the new rules anyway.

No worries man, I'm defo not a Spies bopper, barely even a fan; I just recognize the dude is for real. No man, the only person I worship is Hayden....Spies is a very distant 3rd, maybe even 4th in my worship meter.

I'll go on record,
Win, no
Second, yes
More than two podiums.
Probably end the year fighting Pedro for 4th / 5th.
Wins will be dictated by Rossi , Stoner and Lorenzo, with the odd one to Pedro.
I think Spies will however be the best of the rest.
