Hey Everyone. I know everyone on this website likes to watch motorcycle racing, but who here actually rides motorcycles? I was just curious to see who rides and what they ride...So let me know!

I own a 2006 Yamaha FZ6. It's not a racing bike, but it's built from R6 components and is a very comfortable ride while still having some serious balls. I ride it whenever I can and I'll keep as long as I can!

Post some pics if you've got them! Thanks!

Bulletproof

Perhaps the most under appreciated bike ever built.

Too bad Honda is the evil empire. Not more than 4 months after I unloaded my Ducatis, Hayden made the switch.

Ha ha! Yeah, bad timing

Oh well, it's a good looking bike! I love the naked look...

How do you like that FZ6? I have been considering one for a while now, just not that excited about the exhaust system, doesn't seem too kind to the potential aftermarket exhaust? I ride a 2000 Suzuki SV650, quite customized with full fairing, exhaust and a number of other things. That's another thing, I love having a V-twin sport bike, love the powerband. But the FZ6 looks like it would be really kind to longer rides.

That Honda 919 is a bad ............ I rode my friends and really liked it plus the price is right. I im the proud owner of a beautiful 2006 Yamaha yzfR6 it will be 3 years on the 24th of this month i have 23000 miles on it. Thanks to my lovely wife i am now ready for some track days so ill be riding even more now. Next i am looking into supermoto bikes i want either a Husqvarna 610 or a ktm or a standard japanese dirt bike and add on the slicks to avoid all the ........ government fees and insuarance

Buell 1125r, 2008 with updated injectors and soon to have full fairing and Drummer exhaust.

I don't have any...but my husband has a 2000 Kawasaki ZX6R, a 2000 Honda Blackbird 1100XX and a 2006 Hayabusa. The Ninja is mostly for trackdays.

We are both race fans.

I've got no less than three in my name.
One I ride (VTR100F), one my girlfirend ride(NTV650) and one stashed away that used to be a track bike(RS250).
Depending on time, vacations and wether I put down 6 to 12k miles a year.

I defy anyone to tire of the original R1. You somehow never feel you have full control, and I like that. Although getting on a bit, she still looks great and turns heads. She's feisty, unpredictable, raw, horny, looks great in red, and forever wants to go...and when you climb off, laughs at your inability, a bit like my other half in many ways.

That's about the most spot on assessment of a proper sport bike I've ever heard. Yamaha knows how to make their bikes look nice, IMO.

It looks fast though

Nice Guzzi, man.

I ride a 2003 Yamaha R6. There's a thread in the Petrolhead Zone. Can't be bothered to find the link at the moment.

I got this ZX6 last October - it's still only about 250 miles old.

And I had this DRZ400, which I wrote off in December, breaking my left scaphoid in the process.

Bloody car drivers.

You wanna know what the best part is?

16,000 miles service intervals for the valves

My bike is 5 years old and all of the valves are still within proper clearance.

Amazing.

Had an R6. Sold it to buy a 2008 Duc 848.
Sold the Duc in December, and just bought a Sea-Doo RXP-X
255 Hp supercharged four stroke. 0 - 50mph in 2.8 sec on water.
Loved that bike, but the jet ski is a weapon.
Am really keen to get another bike. Have booked a test ride on the Ducati 1198 when it arrives, but not sure the budget will stretch that far.
Guy I ride with has an Augusta F4 so need to keep up.

2006 Speed Triple. Only mode of transport, so I ride it pretty well every day. Getting too old for sports bikes.

Nicky Hayden held the key to this bike at X-Games 08.
Its the only bike I have that hasn't seen the track.
(Hey Lex, valve job every 6K at $1K a pop.)

The rest of my bikes do mandatory tracktime:
