Who does Honda consider to be #1?

No disrespect to Hayden (the useless Farmboy that he is ) but I think as far as Honda is concerned - last year is ancient history and if I was Nicky - i'd be more than a little pissed off about it.

Honda seemed to be doing everything possible to let Nicky let the title slip through his hands last year (by having him test new parts & giving him clutces made of cheese etc etc at the most critical point of the season) - what's all that about ?

Here is the fact of the matter. Pedrosa has always been Honda's Number 1. He was last year and he is again this year. (Actually, let me qualify this, only at one race was Hayden the number 1 rider for Honda, it was at Valencia last year. That's it. Period.)

i agree with most of what you all are saying.

hayden seems to be the red headed step child or gingers as some call it (yamadeuche-...)

pedrosa is where the honda team are laying their future at.
remember the politics .... hayden had to deal with in order to stay with them last year?
it looks to me as hondais making it hard for him to win, and it shows his strong character to take the patrs and keep the job going, it can only help for his future showing a strong work ethic.

now, is all this true? i dont know im not in the paddock, but it sure is fun to speculate!

PS: pedrosa hasnt "sticken it" to rossi yet, rossi has on every time they have a "duel" unlike hayden that actually sticks to him except at philip island last year haha

This year i think Pedrosa will be number 1 in the team, and rightly so, but last year it was obviously Hayden they backed first.
