I was wonder where people get the good info on what is happening in the World of MotoGP and motorcycle racing in general? We all hear people mentioning rumours etc so give it up: what are your favourite websites for juicy news and rumours?

I regularly look at:

www.motogp.com
www.crash.net

For me it's mostly Italia 1, they have a great relationship with all the Italian riders and the Italian people on motogp teams. So it's quite common to get some juicy gossip straight from Livio Suppo or Davide Brivio even during races. They always have a studio set up directly in the paddock, and most of the Italian riders in the lower classes head over there after their races and watch the motogp there all together, after which the program goes on for another hour of discussing the premier class. Loris Reggiani always there. Giacomo Agostini often there. Vale, Marco and the ducati boys get a big space to talk through their races. Other Italian riders from the past also turn up all the time. They're very biased towards the Italian boys obviously, and Stoner because he's on a Ducati, but one of the guys on the team sat next to Vermeulen on a long flight once, and he can't stop saying what an awfully nice down to earth guy he is!

I do my best. If you want the insider on Marco I suggest his diary on his website. It's a mixture of racing stuff/personal stuff. For example you can get his agonising over Ducati/Gresini of last year straight from the horse's mouth..or laptop as it were. The english version a bit behind though. Sorry bout that!!

Sorry mate, I do get my stats from my own Excel file… it’s in Spanish so all the filters and dynamic tables are linked to “in Spanish” column titles, so when I (didn’t put that much effort, lazy ....... of me) tried and translated it, got all bloody messed up. I would have to get the roar data base and start all the rest over in English, but either way, has to be updated race to race and does have a trick or two to get them dynamic tables running ok, I mean if a mistake like some of the ones I’ve made occurs, it turns not reliable. For example: Kenny Roberts without the “Jr.” meaning him and not his dad got my stats wrong until I fixed it up. Other example is that if a Team’s name gets written differently, just like “Pramac D'Antin” compared to “Pramac D Antin” it gets it all wrong too.

Apart from that, lots of web pages as everybody else, including some from Spanish press or even Italian using a web page translator.
