when is the Silverstone MotoGP?

Hi all,

I'm getting married in Northampton on 23rd July 2016 and am looking for hotels for guests to stay at that weekend. I rang premier Inn and they said because the MOTOGP date has recently changed and is now happening at Silverstone that weekend, we will be very lucky to find hotel rooms, and if we do, they will all be minimum 4 night stays and ridiculously expensive. On the Silverstone website it says the motogp is on 2-4 Sept and formula 1 is 8-10 July.

Is anything major happening at Silverstone on the weekend of 23rd July 2016? I would call silverstone but their lines are closed weekends.

I would book the best room available for cheap for the September 4th weekend,
According to them a regular weekend, then tell them that
The latest Nov 6th revised schedule has moved the gp to September,
Then when they realize that, book your July stay.

There were 2 revisions in November, Nov 2nd kept SIlverstone in July, Nov 6th moved it.
