What would be your ultimate MotoGP season?

I can't remember a season that felt like it was slower to get started than this season. Every other race series feels like it is well underway yet to me MotoGP feels like it has hardly started. Sure we had the volcano and subsequent postponement of a race but every year it feels like MotoGP, my favourite series, is the last to get rolling. Below is the original calender but this is Dorna's pathetic attempt. I am interested in how you would structure the season and where and when you would go racing. What events would you get rid of and which ones would you add in their place. Obviously they can't jump all over the world randomly so you need to link them together and add in some testing as well as think about weather and how many races you would have in a season.

Here is a link to a list of circuits that have held a Motorcycle Grand Prix since 1949. I am sure though with some local knowledge there maybe some great circuits in countries not visited by MotoGP that could hold a race.

So lets do Dorna's job for them for 2011 because we all know they haven't got a clue! I have added every Sunday's date from begin of Feb 2011 to end of Nov 2011 so pick your dates and add your races or tests.

I have bitched forever about the GP schedule and how it never seems to take off. This year with the volcano just magnified the problem. I have always contended that they should have a 20 -22 race season and run at LEAST every other week. The 3, and sometimes 5 weeks between races never allows the series to gain traction except for the hard core fan. .... the one month summer break, its an attitude of entitlement that has invaded the continent and is affecting much more than just racing. Plus, it needs to be more international, having 2/3's of the races on one continent allows fans to pick and choose the race that is in their back yard. A majority of the races are packed in to a rather small geographical area. I know that area is the hot bed of the sport, but when you give the fan that many options to pick and choose from, its counter productive.Having that many races in a days drive, It would be like the AMA having 2/3's of the races in California.Sometime you have to think big. If you cater to the hotbed and rely on it, the popularity will stay where it is, instead of spreading across the globe.
