Do you think that if the Michelins were as competitive as the Bridgestone’s in 2007 the WC'p would be different???...

Please state where the world championship standings would be different today ??? eg Where would Stoner be ??? ( I know most would say...lolxxxx) Where would Vaentinol be???...Where would Nicky???...Where would Dani be???...and etc etc etc???

As there are lots of critics that think that the 2007 motoGP race is purely down to the tyre war!!!

all i will say is the stones have been shithot and fair play to them, i just hope michilins will now get there arse into gear.

If the Stoner effect was smaller and you imagine for a second he didn't win races, Michelin would look like the superior tyre. What does that tell you?

Well it's impossible to tell, if Casey would still be first or not, but for sure it would be much, much closer!

What makes Bridgestone better this year is not only the new tire rules, but the switch to 800's power. I think they got winked at by Lady Luck!!!

I think the Bridgestones are pretty good - results speak for themselves! What other answer is there?

lets face it, michelin got caught with their pants down. the way the've been doin things with success for so many years has caught them out & they'll have to come up with a way to bring tires that work without the old "make em overnight & ship em same day" method that they are so used too. i think the standings would look the same but closer. got to figure the machines also. who would have figured in the beginning of the season the honda would be so ...... or the ducati so good?

If its and buts were candy and nuts what a wonderful time for all.
Its the same question in a different thread. And as far as boys beating men,it wasnt to long ago that your man was a boy and was beating the men and he had the dominant package. You would think after 1 1/2 years, the withdrawl symptoms of Rossi not winning the title would have subsided by now.Guess not.The greats have allways faded away and Rossi is no different. Its time to start thinking about who your next 2 wheel hero.

Traver...it’s not luck it’s called...research, development, expertise and stiff .... to the Michelins!!!...typical Frenchies...there condom bubble has burst!!!...

I’m never going to use condoms made from Michelin rubber!!! That’s IT!!! Well not for 2007 anyways!!!

I'd think lack of sensation would be a better reason for that decision than lack of race wins.

Lack of TRACTION!!!

I would still would have put my money on Stoner being in the lead but with a smaller margin.

Michelin need to come out fighting for the remaining part of the year, otherwise I see a few teams pulling out of there contracts and going to bridgestone.

Well the only rider who has changed tires and had positive results is Stoner. I think if Stoner had Michelins he would probably be upside down in a gravel trap somewhere.

That is bridgestone's real success--they've figured out a way to keep Casey upright.
