What does it take to kill a Volvo?

I own a volvo (c70)


 


swear by it, comfortable to the extreme with pensioner chic looks and goes like a dog shot in the ring. 
 
My wife can killed our v70 with one hit.    she can kill anything though.   Our two year old kitchen she already broke the microwave, twice the cook top, and something off the dishwasher that now sounds like it is as loud as a drive through car wash.   
 
Just own one ....... and decide not to fix it that day.


 


Volvo's actually start the day dead ........ and maybe .... possibly can be resurrected briefly.


 


Volvo 265? 245? for wife. Never again!!! crappiest car I have ever owned.


 


 


The seats were nice though ....

had similar front end feeling to what the desmo must have too !!!!

You should buy your dear wife better quality goods, they're clearly inferior if they keep on breaking like that ;)

The Volvo is the ultimate expression of motoring. There is no "better quality", I own 2 of them. My slightly tweaked C70 is like a lounge bar with a turbo charger, leather everything, sooooooo comfortable and will still pull 250km/h. 


 


With a 14 speaker bose stereo listening to my tunes. 


 


 


Whilst i am somewhat impressed chicks don't dig it. I don't get that bit, they don't like my Johnny Cash either.
 
I know about Volvos, my cousin was an area sales manager for them in this country, he told us lots about them. Then he left Volvo and worked for Porsche, he had a new car every six months and so many people were hugely impressed by that for some reason.


 


Anyway, I wasn't suggesting Traverser buys her a better car, I meant better goods for their kitchen ;)

All i have to say is thank god for Volvo, went out to dinner with my parents last night only to find out that on their way home they were in a head on collision with some ....... who wasnt paying attention.  Car totaled (C70), but they are perfectly fine.    
 
Wow! I'll bet they are shaken up, though.


 


Good news that they are OK. Get them another Volvo!

Did I mention I love my C70 ??  


 


Everywhere I look in my Volvo there is a panel that says air bag. If I crash I will know what it is like to be ... bashed by Pammy Anderson.

I thought it would have to be a 90's era Pam Anderson... and that her bags would be looking previously inflated these days ;)


 


But I was wrong! Apart from having a hooker face, she's definitely looked after the puppies and not let them grow up to be big fat labs!

Wow, glad your parents are okay, sounds really scary. I'm sure they were badly shaken after something like that, good to hear the car saved them :)

Good news.


Volvo are much maligned, but if you google their crash facility in Torslanda, Sweden, you'll see how seriously they take this stuff.
