The Stiggy Honda is a very competitive ride, it's a proven race winner team. He will be in a great position to get some results. I think 2009 will be a much happier season for Ant West and probably a even more unhappier one for Marco Melandri.

You are surely not saying that Hopkins has earned a place on next years grid?
Pete
I'm glad that Westy earned his place in WSS. My crystal ball says in 2 years time he'll be in SBK on a xerox Ducati.
Can't say where Hopper will be next year. Westy got a couple of wins in another class and is a known quantity. Where else could hopper go and be welcomed?

Agree, I think Westy got shafted by Kawasaki.
I'll be surprised if he is not above Hopper in the points table by the end of the year, and to be honest, I'l be very happy if he is.

Absolutely. He's the only Kwak rider to lead the timesheets in practice this year (has Hopper even got a sniff?), as far as I know.
No one's going to win on that bike in the dry. If it's wet, anything's possible with West.
