WOW.lets hope they didnt pay Troy Lee too much.......cos it's nothing special

I would have thought troy Lee could have came up with something a lot more noticeable than what amounts to little more than a "bold new graphics" style.

It doesn't really look much different from last year, does it? Maybe the shade of blue is a bit darker.

Thats it? What did they do, roll up all the complementary rizla papers into one giant joint, smoke it, and get a case off the .... its?

Er...
Shouldn't Zook be spending their $ on making the bike go faster?

If they wanted something 'bold' to attract sponsors, maybe they should have hired that crazy Germanotta chick to tart it up? I see zero value here.

Just changing the Rizla brand colour was probably a Troy Lee achievement in itself. The blue is a great compromise between the dark colours of the Red Bull scheme and the bright baby blue Rizla. I like it. The arcs in the border between dark and light blues are good also because the GSVR is a bit angular compared to other bikes and this softened it up nicely. It looks like the lettering also got a colour adjustment. The rider will seem to be floating on it since the wide dark centre section separates the lower from the upper portion of the bike. Needless to say...it's the new background.

Says a guy that burns the odd paper. Heretic! Well like they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Is it just me, or does it look like the "new" GSVR was delivered by a young Canadian kid driving a DeLorean?

They're all sculpted from someones work in the wind tunnel. Troy Lee had the machine handed to him he hardly changed the style. I once painted my old Volvo a sort of Rizla blue but made the mistake of painting it in the direct sunlight
<
. It was supposed to be cloudy that day...well what did I know at the time it needed it as it was nearing 350ooo kms. Anyway, the sun turned the colour to a hideous glowing blue and people almost ran off the road when they passed me. I painted it again a week later a nicer darker blue (this time in the garage) and got another 75ooo kms out of her (miss that car). Got a few bees stuck on it but not too bad really.

I didn't hate the older blue but this one is better. It's got some depth now.
